Jean co-manages the Value Equity Strategy. She has 15 years of investment industry experience.

Jean joined ClearBridge, LLC (f/k/a Legg Mason Capital Management, LLC) in 2002 as a Research Analyst responsible for research in the health care sector as well as transportation logistical companies, industrial gas, and Chinese internet stocks. Previously, she worked as a Senior Business Analyst, managing consulting projects for Fortune 50 clients in the pharmaceutical industry at ISO Health Care Group.

She received an MD from Beijing Medical University, an MBA from Duke University in Health Sector Management and Finance and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Columbia University. Jean received the CFA designation in 2006.
