Albert is a Portfolio Manager on the Small Cap Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2007 and has 33 years of investment industry experience.
Albert began his tenure as a Research Analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management and was then named Portfolio Manager. Legg Mason Capital Management integrated into ClearBridge in 2014. He has been managing the Small Cap Strategy since joining ClearBridge. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Equity Analyst specializing in small and mid cap companies at Long Trail Investment Management, Phinity Capital, Cyllenius Capital Management (which was acquired by BlackRock) and Fidelity Management & Research. During his tenure at Fidelity, Albert was a member of the Small Cap team and from 1997 to 1999 as a Portfolio Manager.
Albert received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.B.A. in business administration from Emory University.
