Benedict is a Portfolio Manager on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2013 and has 17 years of investment industry experience.
Benedict joined ClearBridge as an ESG Research Associate, was named a Portfolio Analyst on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy in 2016 and became a Portfolio Manager in 2024. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he worked as a Research Associate at the World Resources Institute and Senior Research Analyst at Trucost. Benedict has an M.Sc. in environmental technology from Imperial College London and a B.Sc. in biology from the University of Manchester. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society New York.
