Benedict is a Portfolio Manager on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. He joined ClearBridge in 2013 and has 17 years of investment industry experience and 6 years of related industry experience.
Benedict joined ClearBridge as an ESG Research Associate, was named a Portfolio Analyst on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy in 2016 and became a Portfolio Manager in 2024. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he worked as a Research Associate at the World Resources Institute and Senior Research Analyst at Trucost.
Benedict has an M.S.c. in environmental technology from Imperial College London and a B.S.c in biology from the University of Manchester. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society New York.
