Jean is a Portfolio Manager and member of the Global Value Equity investment team at ClearBridge Investments. She co-manages numerous U.S., global and international value strategies.  She joined the firm in 2002 and has 24 years of investment industry experience.

Jean began her tenure as a Research Analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management, covering the health care sector, as well as transportation logistical companies, industrial gas, and Chinese internet stocks and was then named Portfolio Manager. Legg Mason Capital Management integrated into ClearBridge in 2014.  Prior to joining the firm, she was a Senior Business Analyst managing consulting projects for Fortune 50 clients in the pharmaceutical industry at ISO Health Care Group.

Jean received a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Columbia University, an M.B.A. in health sector management and finance from Duke University, and an M.D. from Beijing Medical University. She is a CFA® charterholder.
