Terrence is Executive Vice President, Head of Public Market Investments and a member of the Executive Committee at Franklin Templeton. He is responsible for setting strategy and driving organizational growth for the collective Franklin Templeton public markets business.
Additionally, Terrence is Chief Executive Officer at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2000. His leadership, grounded in 36 years of investment industry experience, was instrumental to the creation of ClearBridge and its subsequent success.
Terrence joined the firm as Director of Planning. He then assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2004 and Chief Operating Officer in 2006, performing both functions until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he served as Business Controller for various product lines at Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank, including Project Finance, Asset Backed Lending and Treasury; and several positions, including Business Controller for loan syndication and securitization, within NatWest Bank's Commercial Lending Division.
Terrence received an M.B.A. in banking and finance from Hofstra University and a B.A. in accounting from Adelphi University.
