We are proud to announce the availability of ClearBridge’s 2024 Stewardship Report: Innovation Advancing Sustainability and Investment Outcomes.
Our seventh annual report on ClearBridge’s stewardship efforts offers an in-depth view of the latest in ESG integration and sustainability investing at ClearBridge. The report showcases how ClearBridge is analyzing environmental, social and governance factors as part of our investment process across all ClearBridge portfolios, how we are engaging with portfolio companies on key sustainability topics like climate, biodiversity, human rights, and diversity, equity and inclusion, and how we’re using our proxy votes on shareholder and management proposals to advocate for sustainable business practices. We also explore how the 17 U.N. SDGs align with and enhance our investment process.
New this year, the report highlights an internal engagement initiative, Engage for Impact, which encourages targeted engagements with portfolio companies that we believe have a strong likelihood of creating positive impact, and which improves how we structure, measure and communicate progress and outcomes.
