Alastair is a Portfolio Manager on the Emerging Markets Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2010 and has 36 years of investment industry experience.

Alastair was a Portfolio Manager at Martin Currie, which became part of ClearBridge in 2025. Prior to this, he was an Investment Director at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership; a Fund Manager at Edinburgh Fund Managers; and an Analyst/Fund Manager at Scottish Amicable Investment Management.

He is a member of the Association of Securities and Investment Professionals (ASIP).
