Michael is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Growth Equity investment team and co-manages numerous global and international growth strategies at ClearBridge Investments. He joined ClearBridge in 2015 and has 38 years of investment industry experience.

Michael has been a Portfolio Manager on the Global Growth Equity team since joining ClearBridge. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Partner at R Squared Capital Management; Senior Portfolio Manager for International Equities at Artio Global Management (formerly Julius Baer); Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of European Equity Team at the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund; and a Senior Portfolio Manager, Vice President at Commerzbank AG.

Michael earned a B.A. in business and economics from the Wirtschaftsakademie Hamburg (Academy of Business and Administration). He is also a member of the CFA Institute.
