Michael is a Portfolio Manager on the Canadian Small Cap Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. He joined the firm in 2023 and has 15 years of investment industry experience.
Michael began his tenure with the Canadian Equity Team as a Portfolio Analyst for Franklin Bissett Investment Management which became part of ClearBridge in 2023. He joined the firm as a Portfolio Analyst on the Canadian Small Cap Strategy and became a Portfolio Manager in 2025. Prior to this, he was an Analyst, Research Associate at Raymond James; and an Economist for both The Conference Board of Canada and the Sift Every Thing Corporation.
Michael received an M.A. in economics from York University and a B.A. in economics from the University of British Columbia. He is a CFA® charterholder.
