Michael is a Portfolio Manager on the Canadian Small Cap Strategy. He joined ClearBridge Investments in 2023 and has 14 years of investment industry experience.
Michael joined ClearBridge as a Portfolio Analyst on the Canadian Small Cap Strategy and became a Portfolio Manager in 2025. Prior to joining ClearBridge, Michael was a Portfolio Analyst for Franklin Bissett Investment Management, which became part of ClearBridge in 2023; Analyst, Research Associate at Raymond James; and an Economist for both The Conference Board of Canada and the Sift Every Thing Corporation.
Michael received an M.A. in economics from York University and B.A. in economics from The University of British Columbia. He is also a member of the CFA Institute.
