Mary Jane is a Portfolio Manager on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy and the Head of ESG at ClearBridge Investments. She joined the firm in 1996 and has 30 years of investment industry experience.
Mary Jane has been with the ESG Investment program since 1996. She began her tenure as a Business Unit Analyst at Smith Barney, before merging with Citigroup Asset Management, and then rebranded as ClearBridge Investments. While at Citigroup, she served as a Senior Research Analyst for sustainable investment strategies and became a Portfolio Manager on ClearBridge's ESG investment strategies in 2009.
Mary Jane serves on the Board of Directors for Net Impact. She also serves on the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) Advisory Committee for the Listed Equities Working Group.
Mary Jane received an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in finance from Fordham University.
