Mary Jane is the Head of ESG and a Portfolio Manager on the Sustainability Leaders Strategy at ClearBridge Investments. She joined the firm in 1996 and has 30 years of investment industry experience.

Mary Jane has been with the ESG Investment program since 1996. She also served as a Senior Research Analyst and became a Portfolio Manager on ClearBridge’s ESG strategies in 2009. Prior to joining ClearBridge, Mary Jane was a Business Unit Analyst at Smith Barney.

Mary Jane is the Chair of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) Listed Equities Steering Committee and the ESG Integration Sub-Committee. Mary Jane serves on the Board of Directors for both Net Impact and the Sustainable Investments Institute (Si2). She also serves on the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) Advisory Committee for the Listed Equities Working Group.

Mary Jane received an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in finance from Fordham University.
